being guided by article 16 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of Ukraine about cooperation in customs affairs signed in Tashkent on December 5, 1996 (daleesoglasheniye about cooperation),

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties authorize heads of the divisions specified in appendices 1 and 2 to this Memorandum to come into direct contacts for the purpose of rendering mutual assistance.

The parties without delay notify each other on all changes and amendments in the specified appendices.

Article 2

Heads of the Parties will carry out at least once in year of meeting for consideration of questions of implementation of the Agreement on cooperation, and also discussion of topical issues of activities of customs authorities of two states.

In case of need according to the offer of one of the Parties extraordinary meetings can be held.

Meetings are held serially in the territory of the states of the Parties.

Article 3

Based on the Agreement on cooperation customs authorities of the Parties on demand will provide each other information on the goods assessed by high customs duties, considerable zanizheniye of customs value and also to exchange lists of goods to which prohibitions and restrictions of import or export are applied.
