According to article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About radiation safety" and for the purpose of ensuring social protection of the population living in the territories in which there is possibility of exceeding of the set main limits of doses of radiation the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Take into consideration that "About environmental control" and "About radiation safety" control of environmental pollution by radioactive materials is assigned by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Approve Regulations on procedure for social protection of the citizens living in the territories in which there is possibility of exceeding of the set main limits of doses of radiation, according to appendix.

3. Determine the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan responsible for development and coordination of specific measures for social protection of the citizens living in the territories in which there is possibility of exceeding of the set main limits of doses of radiation.

4. To the ministries and departments to bring the regulatory legal acts adopted by them into accord with this resolution in a month.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. I. Ikramov.
