About modification and amendments in the Law on additional social protection of receivers of the pensions established in the state system of social insurance No. 1591-XV of December 26, 2002

Art. I. – In the Law on additional social protection of receivers of the pensions established in the state system of social insurance No. 1591-XV of December 26, 2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2003, Art. No. 1-2, 6), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. To state the name of the law in the following edition:

"Law on additional social protection of some receivers of pensions and some categories of the population".

2. Add the law with Articles 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4 of the following content:

"Art. 1-2. – Establish since July 1, 2014 monthly public welfare payment to the receivers of the pensions established in the state system of social insurance, living in communes Fyrleden, Korzhova and villages Saltworks, Hadzhimus.

Art. 1-3. – Establish since July 1, 2014 monthly public welfare payment to women aged from 55 up to 57 years and to men aged from 60 up to 62 years which live as of January 1, 2014 in communes Kochiyer of Korzhov, the Basket, Molovata Noue, Fyrleden and the villages of Kopanka, Dorotskaya, Pyryta, Varnitsa, Hadzhimus and do not receive the pensions granted by administration of Tiraspol.

Art. 1-4. – Establish since July 1, 2014 monthly public welfare payment to receivers of the public social benefits granted based on the Law on the public social benefits to some categories of citizens No. 499-XIV of July 14, 1999, except for attendance allowances, to the maintenance and supervision and benefits for burial living in communes Kochiyer, Korzhova, the Basket, Molovata Noue, Fyrleden and the villages of Kopanka, Dorotskaya, Pyryta, Varnitsa, Hadzhimus.".

3. State Article 2 in the following edition:

"Art. 2. – Since July 1, 2014 the size of the monthly public welfare payments provided by Articles 1, 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4, is established depending on category of receivers in the following procedure:

1) to receivers of old-age pension – 550 lei;
