Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of Turkmenistan in the field of culture and art for 2015-2016

expressing the strong belief that the cooperation in the field of culture and art develops friendship and mutual understanding between the people,

being guided by general desire to develop and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of culture and art,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will aim at creating favorable conditions for bilateral cooperation in the field of culture.

Article 2

The parties will promote establishment of direct contacts in the field of musical, choreographic art between the concert organizations and the creative unions, and also to exchange of contractors, music and choreographic bands and will promote mutual participation in the international contests and festivals held in the territories of the states of the Parties.

Article 3

The parties will promote establishment of direct contacts between theaters of two states by the organization of tours and performances of theater companies and certain contractors, and also participation in theater festivals on the basis of reciprocity.

Article 4

The parties will promote establishment of direct contacts between the museums and galleries of the Republic of Belarus and Turkmenistan by exchange of experts in the field of museum case, reference materials, and also exchange of information about scientific conferences and seminars in the field of museum case.

The parties will help the organization of museum exhibitions, including exhibitions of the modern art. Conditions, time and the venue of exhibitions will be determined by the organizer of exhibition in each case.
