Regulations on radio-frequency service

1. Specially authorized service on ensuring regulation of use of radio frequencies and radio-electronic means under Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications (further - radio-frequency service) represents the organization which is under authority of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications, performing activities in the field of ensuring proper use of radio frequencies and radio-frequency channels, radio-electronic means and (or) high-frequency devices of civil appointment (further - radio-electronic means and (or) high-frequency devices), examination and monitoring of compliance with law in the established field of activity of Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications, and also participating in provision of the state services.

2. The radio-frequency service performs the activities on the basis of the following principles:

a) continuity of control of functioning of communication networks and information space of the Russian Federation;

b) interrelation of functions and powers of radio-frequency service and Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications;

c) unity of technical policy, means and methods of implementation of the assigned functions;
