identification of tests (samples) - actions for establishment of compliance of goods to standard or comparative samples, and also documentary user information on them;
research (examination) - the studying by specialists of customs laboratory of tests (samples) requiring special knowledge of the field of science, the equipment, etc.
2. Sampling (samples) is made for the purpose of their identification and determination of commodity code according to the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further in the text - the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity).
3. Techniques of sampling and samples, depending on goods type, are determined by the international standards, standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan developed on their basis by techniques of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
4. The research (examination) is appointed by the chief of customs authority when carrying out customs control and customs clearance of goods, and also in case of doubt at customs authority of rather correct classification of goods by the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity.
5. Sampling (is model) is made by the official of customs authority performing customs examination in the presence of person having powers concerning goods, and in case of need for research purposes (examination) of the goods placed in customs regime "release for free circulation" - with participation of the specialist.
Sampling (samples) intended for research purposes (examination) of goods in other cases is made by the official of customs authority designated by the chief of this customs authority.
6. Person having powers concerning goods when sampling (samples) shall render assistance to customs authority.
