About cooperation in the field of topogeodezichesky and navigation providing armed forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States

The governments of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which further are referred to as with the Parties

being guided by the Concept of military state cooperation – members of the Commonwealth of Independent States till 2015 of December 10, 2010,

in view of interest of the Parties in development of common information space during creation and use of means of topogeodezichesky and navigation providing armed forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the used terms mean:

topogeodezichesky providing – complex (system) of actions, and also organizational and practical activities of bodies of military management and military units on creation of means of topogeodezichesky information, providing bodies of military management with them and troops (forces) for the purpose of creating favorable conditions for studying, assessment and use of the area under the organization of management and interaction, and also effective use of arms, the military and special equipment, automated control systems for troops;

navigation providing – complex of actions for determination of location, navigation parameters of movement and optimum routes (trajectories) of movement of troops (forces);

means of topogeodezichesky providing – the technical means intended for accomplishment of special works in case of topogeodezichesky providing, which are component of military equipment and turning on geodetic, gravimetric, topographical, cartographic, photogrammetric devices, the equipment, tools, and also different accessories of topogeodezichesky appointment;

means of land navigation – the technical means intended for land navigation of objects;

geospatial information – data set about the area and objects located on the Earth's surface in the subsurface layer of Earth, near-surface layer of the atmosphere of Earth and near-earth space necessary for use in different spheres of activity.
