About Traffic regulations
For the purpose of providing procedure and traffic safety, increase in efficiency of use of road transport Council of Ministers - the Government of the Russian Federation decides:
1. Approve the enclosed Traffic regulations of the Russian Federation and Basic provisions according to the admission of vehicles to operation and obligation of officials on traffic safety (are referred to as - Basic provisions) and to enact them since July 1, 1994.
To republics within the Russian Federation, regions, areas, the autonomous region, to autonomous areas, the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg to provide the organization of traffic on streets and roads according to requirements of Traffic regulations of the Russian Federation.
2. To the ministries and departments till July 1, 1994 to bring regulations into accord with Traffic regulations of the Russian Federation and Basic provisions.
3. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation to develop in 1994 procedure for the admission of drivers-military personnel to transportation of people on cargo vehicles.
4. To the Ministry of Press and Information of the Russian Federation:
provide the edition in enough Traffic regulations of the Russian Federation, Basic provisions, and also in coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation of the collection of regulations concerning traffic;
together with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to provide the edition of educational and methodical literature and visual aids for promoting of Traffic regulations of the Russian Federation and Basic provisions.
