The Russian Federation, on the one hand, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan which is the founder states of the Central Asian Cooperation Organization (further - TsAS), on the other hand

being guided by article 3 of the Contract between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan about organization of the Central Asian Cooperation Organization signed in Almaty on February 28, 2002 (daleedogovor)

aiming at further strengthening and development of multidimensional cooperation and interaction in all areas between the Russian Federation and the states of Central Asia,

being based on the relation of friendship and neighborliness developing between our countries throughout centuries

proceeding from desire to create effective system of ensuring stability in Central Asia and to promote deepening of integration interaction, being equitable to common interests and each state separately,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The Russian Federation joins the Agreement and assumes in full all rights following from it and obligations.

Article 2

From signature date of the this Protocol the Russian Federation in full takes part in work of Bodies of TsAS.

Article 3

The this Protocol is temporarily applied from the date of signing and becomes effective from date of delivery the Russian Federation on storage to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan which is depositary of the Agreement, the ratification letter. If the ratification letter is checked before entry into force of the Agreement, then the this Protocol will become effective along with the Agreement.
