About approval of the Procedure for providing the citizens having rare (orphan) diseases, medicines and the corresponding products for special dietary consumption

According to part two of Article 53-1 of Bases of the legislation of Ukraine on health care the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Approve the Procedure for providing the citizens having rare (orphan) diseases, medicines and the corresponding products for special dietary consumption which is applied.

2. To the Ministry of Health together with the Ministry of Finance during preparation of the bill on the Government budget of Ukraine for the corresponding year to provide expenses on implementation of actions for uninterrupted and free providing the citizens having rare (orphan) diseases, medicines and the corresponding products for special dietary consumption taking into account financial opportunities of the government budget.

3. Regional and Kiev city to public administrations:

in six-months time to develop and approve actions for providing the citizens having rare (orphan) diseases, medicines and the corresponding products for special dietary consumption, who are purchased at the expense of means of the local budget;

by preparation of drafts of local budgets to provide financing expenses of the specified actions taking into account financial opportunities of budgets.
