About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About fauna"

Article 1. Article 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia No. ZR-52 of April 3, 2000 "About fauna" (further - the Law):

To add 1) with the new paragraph of the following content:

"wild animal – the animals created by the nature, who appeared natural selection (without intervention of the person), living in natural free conditions, individuals and the posterity of these animal species containing in bondage or in semi-free conditions."

The second paragraph to state 2) in the following edition:

"the wild animal containing in bondage – individuals of wild types of fauna who are in unnatural conditions their movement is limited to certain territory, their life support is performed by the employee;"

The fifteenth paragraph to state 3) in the following edition:

"the animal containing in semi-free conditions - individuals of wild types of fauna who are under natural conditions their movements are limited to natural or artificial borders, and life support of animal partially performs containing;".

Article 2. Add the Law with Articles 27.1 and 27.2 with the following content:

"Article 27.1. Procedure for content in bondage or in semi-free conditions of wild animals, including, the animals included in the Red List of animals of the Republic of Armenia

1. Conditions of keeping of wild animals in bondage or in semi-free conditions shall provide their biological, specific, specific features, health and safety of life, and also to exclude escape of animals from the place of content. For exception of escape and productive implementation of constant surveillance the wild animals containing in bondage or in semi-free conditions are girdled is numbered.
