About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About fauna"

Article 1. "About fauna" of April 3, 2000 to state the Item "e" of article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia to ZR-52 (further - the Law) in the following edition:

"e) conclusion of usage agreements of resources of fauna;"

Article 2. To state the text of article 21 of the Law in the following edition:

"Export and import of the wild animals, their parts and derivatives included in appendices to "The convention on international trade in types of wild fauna and the flora which are on the verge of disappearance" are performed according to the requirements established by the Convention according to the procedure, determined by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Export, import of wild animals and their content in bondage, or resettlement in free conditions, are performed with the permission of authorized body, according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia, except for export of the wild animals provided for use in the agricultural and industrial purposes. The agreement signed with authorized body for the purpose of use of wild animals according to the types and quantities specified in it becomes the basis for export of the wild animals provided for use in the agricultural and industrial purposes.

Export and import of zoological collections or separate samples are performed with the permission of authorized body according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia."

Article 3. In article 24 of the Law:

Part 2 to state 1) in the following edition:

"Use is performed based on the agreements signed with authorized body";

2) to exclude the words "issue of licenses and" from part 3;

3) part 4 to recognize invalid.

Article 4. This law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
