About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning increase in level of social protection of separate categories of veterans of war

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:

1. The labor code of Ukraine (1971, appendix to No. 50, by the station 375) to add sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR with Article 77-2 of the following content:

"Article 77-2. Additional vacation to separate categories of veterans of war

Combatants, disabled veterans whose status is determined by the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" are granted additional vacation with preserving the salary lasting 14 calendar days in year".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 45, Art. 425 with subsequent changes):

Item 11 parts one of Article 6 to state 1) in the following edition:

"11) persons who as a part of groups of pyrotechnic works (groups of mine clearing) were involved in direct accomplishment of tasks on mine clearing (to identification, neutralization and destruction) explosive objects in the territory of Ukraine and persons who on mine trawlers participated in sweeping of fighting mines in territorial and neutral waters in military and post-war time";

2) in Item 12 of Article 12 and Item 17 of Article 13 of the word "receipt of additional vacation non-paid for up to two weeks in year" shall be replaced with words "receipt of additional vacation with preserving the salary of 14 calendar days in year".

3. In the Law of Ukraine "About leaves" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1997, No. 2, Art. 4 with subsequent changes):

1) in the Section III:

state the name in the following edition:

"The Section III ADDITIONAL VACATIONS DUE TO the TRAINING. SABBATICAL LEAVE. LEAVE FOR PREPARATION AND PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS. ADDITIONAL VACATION to SEPARATE CATEGORIES of VETERANS of WAR";
