About indexation of benefits of social insurance and some public social benefits

The government DECIDES:

1. Establish coefficient of indexation of benefits in 2005 in the amount of % 18,2 proceeding from the annual growth of consumer price index on 12,4 of % and increase in the average salary over the country in previous year on % 23,9.

2. Since April 1, 2005 to index:

all types of pensions established and counted based on the Pensions act of the national social insurance N 156-XIV of October 14, 1998;

the pensions established for long service which are paid from budget funds of the national social insurance;

the pensions of deputies established based on the Law on the status of the deputy of Parliament N 39-XIII of April 7, 1994;

the pensions of members of the government established based on the Law on social guarantees of members of the government in case of resignation, reorganization of the Government or the expiration of powers N 760-XIV of December 24, 1999;

the pensions of government employees established based on the Civil service law N 443-XIII of May 4, 1995;

the pensions of local elected persons established based on the Law on the status of the local elected person N 768-XIV of February 2, 2000;

the pensions of customs officers established based on the Law on service in customs authorities N 1150-XIV of July 20, 2000;

the disability benefits established based on the Insurance law from labor accidents and occupational diseases N 756-XIV of December 24, 1999.

3. To perform indexation of pensions of deputies, members of the government, government employees, local elected persons and customs officers only for that part which is paid from budget funds of social insurance.
