About registration of the civil weapon which is not considered in accordance with the established procedure

For the purpose of the prevention of the offenses made using the civil weapon which is not considered in accordance with the established procedure:

1. Determine that citizens of the Republic of Belarus, the foreign citizens and persons without citizenship who are constantly living in the Republic of Belarus, voluntarily showed from coming into force of this Decree till July 1, 2014 for registration being in their ownership the civil weapon which is not considered in accordance with the established procedure being subject to registration in law-enforcement bodies, or handed over such weapon and refused its subsequent registration, are exempted from the criminal and administrative liability established by legal acts for illegal actions concerning this weapon.

2. Approve the enclosed Regulations on registration of the civil weapon which is not considered in accordance with the established procedure.

3. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of information, National state broadcasting company to take measures for carrying out explanatory work among the population about need of presentation for registration or delivery according to this Decree of the civil weapon which is not considered in accordance with the established procedure.

4. This Decree becomes effective after its official publication.
