About measures for implementation of the international medical and sanitary rules in the Republic of Uzbekistan
For the purpose of the organization and strengthening of complex system of regulation of the relations connected with ensuring sanitary and epidemiologic wellbeing of the population of the republic, and also prevention of the international spread of diseases, the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Take into consideration that:
On May 23, 2005 the International medical and sanitary rules which became effective on June 15, 2007 and being the countries, obligatory for execution, - members of the World Health Organization are adopted at the 58th session of the World assembly of health care;
The international medical and sanitary rules are directed to rendering assistance to the international community in prevention and acceptance of response measures on spread of diseases on a global scale;
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with Representative office of WHO and the competent ministries and departments holds preparatory activities on implementation of the International medical and sanitary rules in the territory of the republic.
2. Determine the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan the National coordinator of the Republic of Uzbekistan on implementation of the International medical and sanitary rules.
3. Approve:
Regulations on the National coordinator of the Republic of Uzbekistan on implementation of the International medical and sanitary rules according to appendix No. 1;
The list of the bodies of the public and economic board responsible within the powers for implementation of medical and sanitary measures within implementation of the International medical and sanitary rules, according to appendix No. 2.
