About participation of Ukraine in the program of the European Union the horizon of 2020 - the Framework programme on researches and innovations (2014-2020)

The European commission (further - the Commission) on behalf of the European Union, from other party (further together - the Parties),
that:
(The Protocol III to the Agreement on association between Ukraine, on the one hand, and the European Union, European Atomic Energy Community and their state members, on the other hand, on the framework agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on the general principles of participation of Ukraine in programs of the EU provides 1) in Article 5, that specific terms and conditions of participation of Ukraine in each specific program, in particular financial contribution and procedures of the reporting and assessment, are determined by competent authorities of Ukraine and the Commission.

(2) on December 11, 2013 the European Parliament and Council accepted Regulations No. 1291/2 013/EU about creation of the new Program of the EU for researches and innovations "The horizon of 2020 - the Framework programme on researches and innovations" (2014-2020) - 2 (further - the Program).
(3) the Program is directed to assistance to achievement of single European scientific space and the innovative union.
(4) According to Article 7 of Regulations No. 1291/2013/EU the specific terms and conditions concerning participation of the associated country in the Program including financial contribution which shall be based on indicator of gross domestic product of the associated country are determined by the international treaty between the Union and the associated country. - 3
