About ensuring boundary safety

For the purpose of enhancement of regulation of the relations connected with ensuring boundary safety I decide:

1. Approve Regulations on procedure for involvement of citizens to protection of Frontier of the Republic of Belarus it (is applied).

2. Make changes and additions to the following presidential decrees of the Republic of Belarus:

2.1. in Regulations on the State boundary committee of the Republic of Belarus approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of September 25, 2007 No. 448 "About some questions of bodies of the border service" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2007, No. 235, 1/8939; 2010, No. 147, 1/11715):

the second Item 6 to state part in the following edition:

"The state frontier committee consists of head departments, managements, departments (services), sectors.";

in Item 8:

state subitem 8.1 in the following edition:

"8.1. ensuring boundary safety, including by means of realization of powers in the field of the state boundary policy;";

add subitem 8.2 with words ", except for protection of Frontier in airspace";

state subitems 8.5-8.7 in the following edition:

"8.5. participation in the solution of tasks on defense of the Republic of Belarus, and also in providing the modes of emergency and warlike situation;

8.6. the organization of the omission through Frontier of physical persons, and also goods in Items of the simplified omission;

8.7. the prevention, identification and suppression of the offenses creating threat of boundary safety, and also promoting them the reasons and conditions;";

in Item 9:

add Item with subitems 9.5-1-9.5-4 of the following content:

"9.5-1. determines procedure of protection of Frontier, except for protection of Frontier in airspace, establishes procedure of border control, including determines its content, methods and means;

9.5-2. according to the legislation renders the Ministry of Defence assistance in ensuring protection of Frontier in airspace;
