in view of interest in development and strengthening of friendly relations between the people of the states of the Parties,

aiming to encourage and create favorable conditions for development of cooperation between two states on mutually advantageous basis,

for the purpose of implementation of the Tashkent declaration of October 21, 1996,

based on the Program of economic cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan Republic of October 22, 1999,

agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

1. General provisions

1.1 All types of activity entering this Program will be performed according to national legal systems of the states of the Parties.

1.2 This Program does not exclude other types of activity, visits and offers which can be approved by the Parties through diplomatic channels.

1.3 Requests concerning carrying out scientific research of developments, within this Program, will be transferred through diplomatic channels to the host party in four months prior to expected date of visit. The request shall contain the general data touching the directed faces, the planned terms of their stay and the place of visit.

1.4 Information on persons participating in implementation of this Program is provided to authorized bodies of the host party through diplomatic channels by authorized bodies of the sending party.

1.5 During implementation of visits the expenses connected with journey of the directed individuals and delegations to the state of the host party and back according to the Program are born by the sending party.

1.6 Expenses on the organization and holding the relevant activities are born by the host party.

All necessary documents on holding the relevant activities go to the host party in three months prior to expected date of their carrying out.

1.7 Authorized bodies of the states of the Parties on implementation of this Program are:
