About the Standard statute of the village (commune), city (municipium)

The parliament adopts this ordinary law.

Art. 1. - Approve the Standard statute of the village (commune), city (municipium) according to the appendix which is integral part of this law.

Art. 2. - Declare invalid the Law on the standard statute of the village (commune), city (municipium) N 432-XIII of April 19, 1995.

Appendix

Standard statute of the village (commune), city (municipium)

1. According to Item m) parts (2) article 14 of the Law on local public authority No. 436/2006 the Standard statute of the village (commune), city (municipium) is the legal basis for development of the statute of administrative and territorial unit by which bodies of local public authority are guided in the activities.

2. Based on this Standard statute council of the village (commune), city (municipium) develops and approves the statute of the corresponding administrative and territorial unit, except for the statute of municipium of Chisinau and the statute of municipium of Belts which are regulated by the organic laws.

3. The statute establishes administrative and territorial unit level according to provisions of the Law on the administrative-territorial device of the Republic of Moldova No. 764-XV of December 27, 2001.

4. The statute of administrative and territorial unit contains the data and specific elements distinguishing it from other similar units, concerning:

a) the official name of administrative and territorial unit, the area of the managed territory, territory borders; the inhabited Item residence;

b) names of the settlements which are part of administrative and territorial unit, their location, graphical and descriptive representation;
