Procedure for purpose of statutory environmental audit

1. The procedure for purpose of statutory environmental audit is developed according to article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About environmental audit", and governs the relations arising between participants of statutory environmental audit and establishes unity of requirements when carrying out statutory environmental audit.

2. Statutory environmental audit will be organized and carried out by the decision of authorized body of state regulation of environmental audit and on the specifics is the state, environmental audit.

3. Statutory environmental audit as a rule is appointed concerning ecologically dangerous undertakings and types of activity (objects of environmental audit), and also in case of the following cases:

a) carrying out ecological insurance for the purpose of determination of rate or the size of insurance payments and (or) compensations;

b) estimates of activities for liquidation of ecological effects of accidents and natural disasters;

c) accomplishment of the international obligations of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of use of natural resources and environmental protection;

d) in other cases established by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
