Charter of the Tajik state national university

General provisions

1. The Tajik state university (further in the text - University) is formed by the Resolution of Council of Ministers of the USSR of 21.03.1947 for No. 643. The charter of University is accepted by General meeting (conference) on April 9, 2001 No. 8.

2. The university is state educational institution of the Republic of Tajikistan and according to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the status of the Tajik state university" of 15.02.1997 No. 669 is provided to University the status of autonomous, self-governed higher educational institution.

3. The university is legal entity, has own balance, current accounts, has bank accounts in national and foreign currency within the Republic of Tajikistan, seal with the image of the State Emblem, the name in the state and Russian languages, forms and stamps.

4. Founder of University is the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

5. Self-government of university is provided that:

- according to this Charter the University has the right to adoption of independent decisions and implementation of the actions which are not contradicting the current legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- in coordination with the founder determines the structure;
