1. Approve the Concept on rational use and protection of water resources in the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. Oblige Chairmen of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the cities, areas, heads of the ministries and departments of the Republic of Tajikistan to develop specific, long-term programs for the purpose of implementation of this concept and to take the course of their execution under constant control.

3. To provide to the Ministry ofMelioration and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan the edition of the Concept on rational use and protection of water resources in the Republic of Tajikistan and to bring it to all ministries and departments, chairmen of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the cities, areas, the state companies.

4. To the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan annually to inform the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the course of implementation of this resolution.

5. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan to notify the Secretariat by the United Nations General Assembly on this decision.
