- wishing to strengthen cooperation between two countries in the field of agricultural industry,

- proceeding from intention to promote creation of high-productive agricultural industry,

- recognizing that such cooperation will promote further expansion of friendship, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote development of cooperation in the field of agricultural industry, including crop production, livestock production, storage and conversion of agricultural products. At the same time special attention will be paid to the following directions and spheres of cooperation:

- expansion of implementation of technologies of cultivation of crops;

- in the field of protection and use of cross-border water currents;

- exchange of gene pool in milk, meat cattle breeding and sheep breeding;

- cooperation in the field of veterinary science;

- the organization and holding seminars and conferences, meetings in any of two countries;

- the tripartite cooperation (with the third donor countries or the international sponsoring organizations) on development is market the oriented forms and subregional projects on production, storage, conversion, delivery and marketing of agricultural products;

- encouragement of creation of joint businesses.

Article 2

For the purpose of implementation of the cooperation provided in Article 1 and ensuring necessary contacts the Joint commission consisting of 4 representatives from each Party will be formed.
