According to article 20 of the Constitutional law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan" and article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About Frontier of the Republic of Tajikistan" the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Approve the List of the cities, areas, settlements and dekhot within which territory the border area is established and borderland (is attached).

2. To the state committee of homeland security of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State committee on land management and geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan in coordination with local executive bodies of the government of the cities and areas to determine limits of border area and borderland on places by the warning signs.
