About National strategy and the Action plan for preserving and rational use of biodiversity of the Republic of Tajikistan

For the purpose of accomplishment of obligations of the Republic of Tajikistan according to requirements of the Convention on biological diversity the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Approve National strategy and the Action plan for preserving and rational use of biological diversity of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. To the ministries and departments, Chairmen of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, cities and areas to provide accomplishment of National strategy and the action plan on preserving and rational use of biological diversity of the Republic of Tajikistan.

3. For the purpose of realization of National strategy and the Action plan on preserving and rational use of biodiversity, based on the Working group on development of National strategy and the action plan to organize the National Center of biodiversity and biosafety and to approve its Provision it (is applied).

4. Charge to the National coordinator to prepare the organizational regulating documents concerning functioning of the National center of biodiversity and biosafety.

5. To assign control of the course of accomplishment of National strategy and the action plan on preserving and rational use of biological diversity of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cartagena protocol on biosafety of the Convention on biodiversity to the Center, and to the National coordinator annually to submit to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan the report on the course of accomplishment of Strategy and the action plan on biological diversity.
