Main objective of this Law is creation of the legal basis and necessary conditions for the organization and carrying out at the high level in 2017 of the V Asian games in the enclosed space and on martial arts in the city of Ashgabat (further – the V Asian games), including ensuring legal guarantees for the accomplishment of terms of the contract about carrying out in 2017 the V Asian games in the city of Ashgabat concluded between hyakimliky the city of Ashgabat, National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan and the Olympic Council of Asia (further – the agreement on holding the V Asian games).

Article 2. Legislation of Turkmenistan on the organization and holding the V Asian games

1. The legislation of Turkmenistan on the organization and holding the V Asian games is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of Turkmenistan.

2. If the international treaty of Turkmenistan establishes other rules than provided by this Law, then rules of the international treaty are applied.

Article 3. Period of the organization and holding the V Asian games

1. The period of the organization V of Asian games is the period of time from the date of signing on December 19, 2010 of the agreement on holding the V Asian games till December 31, 2017.
