About approval of the Concept of development of the Tashkent zoological park for 2016 - 2020

For the purpose of development of the Tashkent zoological park (further - zoo) as modern cultural and spectacular, scientific and educational public institution, ensuring enrichment of its collection with rare and exotic animal species, and also creating favorable conditions for their content the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Approve:

The concept of development of the Tashkent zoological park for 2016 - 2020 (further - the Concept) according to appendix No. 1;

The actions plan on implementation of the Concept of development of the Tashkent zoological park for 2016 - 2020 (further - the Actions plan) according to appendix No. 2, providing the complex actions directed on:

enhancement of infrastructure and material and technical resources of zoo by construction, reconstruction and capital repairs of objects of zoo and its equipment according to the international requirements for content of wild animals in bondage;

development of research and selection activities by creation of modern scientific complex for development of zoological researches, laboratory of zoology and zooengineering;

preserving, replenishment and enrichment of gene pool of zoo due to artificial animal husbandry in bondage, exchange of animals with other zoos, holding purposeful specific, antiepizootic actions;
