The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

attaching importance to further enhancement of economic cooperation,

recognizing need of coordinated actions for stabilization of work of industries of the national economy,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

To perform mutual deliveries of the major types of goods according to the schedules which are monthly approved by the Parties, in amounts according to appendix No. 1.

Article 2

The parties will charge to the relevant ministries, departments and the organizations to perform mutually deliveries of products according to appendix No. 2.

Article 3

The Kazakh side will keep the existing rates for railway transit transportation of goods on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the tariff agreement on the transportations of the external economic loads paid in currency, signed in Minsk on January 12, 1994, and the Uzbek side will establish the price for the natural gas delivered to consumers of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the Intergovernmental agreement, 55 dollars for 1000 cubic meters.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan prolongs operation of the order of May 31, 1994 N 74 "About the omission of loads of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the railroads of the Republic of Kazakhstan" till January 1, 1995.

Article 4

The parties will provide in the territories favorable conditions for implementation of automobile transportations of other state, including transit.

State bodies of management of the Parties on transport will sign the free standing agreement.
