About modification of Rules of investigation of the reasons of accidents in power industry for the purpose of optimization of the criteria determining accidents and regulation of procedures of their investigation

1. Approve the enclosed changes which are made to the Rules of investigation of the reasons of accidents in power industry approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 28, 2009 No. 846 "About approval of Rules of investigation of the reasons of accidents in power industry" (The Russian Federation Code, 2009, No. 44, Art. 5243; 2011, No. 50, Art. 7385; 2015, No. 43, Art. 5973).

2. To Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision in coordination with the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in 6-month time from the date of entry into force of this resolution to develop and approve procedure for forming of the commissions on investigation of the reasons of accidents in power industry.

Changes which are made to Rules of investigation of the reasons of accidents in power industry

1. Items 1 - 3 to state in the following edition:

"1. These rules determine procedure for investigation of the reasons of accidents in power industry, except for nuclear plant accidents.

The technological violations in operation of the electrotechnical equipment of nuclear power plants corresponding to the criteria specified in subitems "in (2)" and - "N" of item 4 of these rules, are investigated according to these rules. Other violations in work of nuclear power plants are investigated according to the procedure established by federal regulations and rules of use of atomic energy.
