The government and the Central bank of the Russian Federation and the Government and National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties

proceeding from the fact that in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan the single legal means of payment is the tenge

agreed as follows procedure for the relations connected with functioning in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of field organizations of the Central bank of the Russian Federation.

Article 1.

The field organizations of the Central bank of the Russian Federation which are in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, being part of the Russian troops deployed in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, provide bank servicing of these troops. Opening in field organizations of the Central bank of the Russian Federation of accounts for legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan is allowed only in the presence of special permission of National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Article 2.

Field organizations of the Central bank of the Russian Federation have the correspondent sub-accounts in organizations of National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the place of the dislocation opened in tenge and carry out transactions on these accounts according to the procedure established for banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Means in tenge on correspondent sub-accounts of field organizations of the Central bank of the Russian Federation are created for the account:
