This Law determines the status, competence, organizational structure of Control chamber of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia (further - Control chamber), the principles and forms of its activities.
The control chamber - the organization performing financial and economic audit (studying and the analysis) which is created by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and is accountable only to it. The control chamber has seal and the form with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Armenia and the name.
Tasks of Control chamber are:
a) represent to National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia results of audit, inform on them the Government;
b) represent to National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia the conclusions:
about the annual statement of the Government about execution of the State Budget,
about the report of the Government on accomplishment of the annual privatization program and privatization of the state companies and objects of construction in progress,
about the annual statement of the Central bank;
c) at the beginning of every half-year to represent to deputies of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia the certificate of execution of the State Budget for last half-year, use received from other states and the international organizations of loans and the credits, the course of accomplishment of the privatization program and privatization;
