About modification and amendments in some legal acts

Art. I. – In the Law on judicial system No. 514-XIII of July 6, 1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2013, Art. No. 15-17, 62), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

2. Add the law with Article 15-1 of the following content:

"Article 15-1. The judge on criminal prosecution

(4) the Supreme council of magistracy according to the proposal of the chairman of degree of jurisdiction:

a) at least in three months prior to the expiration of powers of the effective judge on criminal prosecution appoints according to the procedure, established in parts (2) and (3), the judge who will perform powers of the judge on criminal prosecution, and also one or several replacement judges who will perform powers of the judge on criminal prosecution in case of impossibility of performance the first the powers;

b) in case of vacant position of the judge on criminal prosecution, within no more than 30 days from the date of its origin, appoints according to the procedure, established in parts (2) and (3), other judge who will perform powers of the judge on criminal prosecution.
