About some measures for accomplishment of the Law No. 414-XVI of December 22, 2006
For the purpose of accomplishment of provisions of part (2) article 39 of the Law No. 414-XVI of December 22, 2006 on obligatory civil liability insurance for the damage caused by vehicles (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2016, Art. No. 44-48, 85), and also implementation of measures for control of compulsory third party car insurance DECIDES: the Government
1. Resolve journey through frontier of the Republic of Moldova in the direction of entry into the country of the vehicles registered abroad in case of presentation to the boundary police officer of the documents on obligatory motor vehicle liability valid for the Republic of Moldova.
2. Resolve journey through frontier of the Republic of Moldova in the direction of departure from the country of the vehicles registered in Moldova, in case of presentation to the boundary police officer of the international documents of compulsory third party car insurance issued by insurers of the Republic of Moldova, confirmed with data of the State automated information system in the field of obligatory civil liability insurance of vehicles, or in case of presentation of the certificate of the boundary insurance valid for the country of destination, issued under guarantee of foreign bureau, or in case of presentation of other documents of car insurance valid for the country of destination.
3. From the effective date this Resolution the supervision body together with National bureau of motor insurers will represent to Department of boundary police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs the certified samples of the international documents on car responsibility insurance issued by licensed insurers of the Republic of Moldova, and the certificates of boundary insurance issued under guarantee of foreign bureaus.
