I. General provisions

1. According to article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Moldova "About restriction of monopolistic activities and development of the competition", on the Ministry of Economics control of observance of the antitrust law by bodies of authority and management of the Republic of Moldova, and also the subjects of entrepreneurship acting in the republican market is imposed. Proceeding from it, the Ministry of Economics has the right to perform observance of the antitrust law by those subjects to which it extends and to make by their results decisions within the competence.

2. 3. Object of check can be action (failure to act) in the market of the Republic of Moldova of bodies of authority and management, business entities of all patterns of ownership, and also their officials who are regulated by the antitrust law.

- orders and requests of Parliament and Government;

- consideration by the Ministry of Economics of case on antitrust violation;
