Regulations on electronic payments in Turkmenistan

1. This Provision regulates procedure and accounting of electronic payments in the interbank sphere, and also control of their carrying out for acceleration of turnover of money when calculating and effective functioning of monetary and credit system of the state.

2. For the purposes of this provision the following terms and determinations are used:

electronic payment system of Turkmenistan - set of certain groups of organizations and procedures which are used to provide circulation of money supply or monetary commitments in Turkmenistan;

members of electronic payment service provider of Turkmenistan - the operator of settlement network of the Central bank of Turkmenistan, organization of banks of Turkmenistan, Treasurer management of the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan and their structural divisions;

electronic payment - the cashless payment registered by means of the electronic payment document by use of settlement network of the Central bank of Turkmenistan according to the established procedures and this Provision;
