About approval of some veterinary sanitary standards
Based on the Law No. 221-XVI of October 19, 2007 on veterinary and sanitary activities, the Law No. 306/2018 on safety of foodstuff, the Law No. 50 of March 28, 2013 on official control for the purpose of check of compliance to the fodder and food legislation and the rules concerning health and wellbeing of animals:
1. Approve:
The veterinary sanitary standard establishing the requirements for health of animals regulating production, processing, placement and import to the market of some animal products intended for consumption by the person according to appendix No. 1;
The veterinary sanitary standard establishing certain fundamental principles of the organization of veterinary sanitary inspections during the importing and sales of products of animal origin according to appendix No. 2;
The veterinary sanitary standard establishing the frequency of the physical controls which are applied to a certain imported batches of animal products according to appendix No. 3;
The veterinary sanitary standard establishing procedures for implementation of veterinary sanitary inspections for input for the purpose of import of animal products on the Items of veterinary health control organized on customs clearance stations according to appendix No. 4;
Regulations about the consolidated official control which is carried out when importing some fodder products for animals and products of not animal origin according to appendix No. 5.
2. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the National agency on safety of foodstuff.

to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova of December 10, 2008 No. 1408
1. The veterinary sanitary standard establishing the requirements for health of animals regulating production, processing, placement and import to the market of some animal products intended for consumption by the person (further – Veterinary sanitary standard), aims at removal of obstacles in case of trade in these products, promoting thereby realization of the domestic market and providing at the same time high level are sewn up health of animals.
The purpose of this Veterinary sanitary standard consists also in prevention of introduction or spread of diseases at animals, non-admission of input on the market of defective products of animal origin. This regulation contains also general requirements, in particular the restrictions applied when importing to the market of the products occurring from the objects or regions infected with epizootic diseases and obligations to subject the products coming from the regulated regions, processing for the purpose of destruction of the pathogenic carrier.
2. This Veterinary sanitary standard is harmonized with provisions of the Directive of the Council of Europe 2002/99/CE of December 16, 2002 about establishment of requirements for health of the animals regulating production, processing, placement and import to the market of some animal products intended for consumption by the person, published in the Official magazine of the Council of Europe (JOCE) No. L 18 of January 23, 2002, the item 11, which was changed by the Decision of the EU 2013/417 about enforcement of the Commission of July 31, 2013, about change of appendix III to the Directive 2002/99/CE of Council on establishment of requirements for health of the animals regulating production, processing, placement and import to the market of some animal products intended for consumption by the person in that as for additional treatment for the purpose of elimination of some risks for health of animals whose meat is intended for consumption, the European Union published in the Official magazine No. L206/13 of August 2, 2013.
3. Economic agents in the field of the food industry provide observance of veterinary health requirements at all production phases, processings and distributions of animal products for the purpose of non-admission of spread of the diseases which are transmitted to animals according to stated below provisions:
animal products shall be received from animals who:
a) correspond to conditions on health of animals;
b) there are no units from object, the territories or parts of the territory subject to the restrictions on health of animals applicable to animals and animal products;
