based on the Agreement on uniform conditions of transit through the territories of the State Parties of the Customs union of January 22, 1998,
in pursuance of provisions of the Protocol on customs control over the goods and vehicles moved between customs authorities of the State Parties of the Customs union of February 17, 2000
aiming to accelerate movement of goods in transit by road transport on the territories,
intending to simplify international shipping terms,
wishing to promote development of international trade,
agreed as follows:
The terms applied in this agreement correspond to the terms determined in Bases of customs legislations of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of February 10, 1995.
Action of this agreement extends to transit transportations of goods by road transport through the territories of the states of the Parties.
This agreement does not extend to the transportations of goods performed according to the Customs convention about international delivery of loads using the book of the International road delivery of 1975.
Authorized bodies of the states of the Parties on implementation of provisions of this agreement are:
on behalf of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic - the State customs inspection under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;
on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan - the Ministry of state revenues and charges of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In case of change of official names or functions of authorized bodies of the states of the Parties, the Parties will be timely notified through diplomatic channels.
