About measures for implementation of new samples of the national car driver license and the registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle

For the purpose of ensuring compliance of samples of the national car driver license to recommendations of the Convention on traffic (Vienna, on November 8, 1968), the effective organization of implementation of modern information and communication technologies in system of registration and accounting of national car driver licenses and registration certificates of automotor-vehicles the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Agree with the offer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on step-by-step implementation of the new samples of the national car driver license and the registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle made on the basis of plastic forms.

2. Approve new samples:

the national car driver license and its description according to appendix No. 1;

registration certificates of the automotor-vehicle and its description according to appendix No. 2;

the coupon about passing of technical inspection by the automotor-vehicle and its description according to appendix No. 3.

3. Determine that:

since October 1, 2017 issue of new samples, respectively, the national car driver license - is performed in case of execution of the national car driver license and registration certificate of the automotor-vehicle - in case of registration (re-registration) of the automotor-vehicle;

the national car driver license of new sample is issued for a period of 10 years from the date of issue;

replacement of the existing national car driver licenses by new samples is performed:

from October 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018 on voluntary basis - for national car driver licenses of old sample, irrespective of date of their issue, according to the written application of their owner;

from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021 without fail - for all national car driver licenses of old sample, irrespective of date of their issue;
