proceeding from the national interests and traditional ties in the field of health care which developed between them

and also considering interest of both Parties in further development of mutually beneficial cooperation on long-term basis,

agreed about it:

Article 1

The parties undertake to develop cooperation for the benefit of further enhancement of national health care systems.

Article 2

The parties will develop mutually beneficial cooperation in such fields of practical health care and medical science:

organization of health care and prevention of diseases;

exchange of operational information on emergency situations and epidemiological situation which attract mutual interest;

provision of the specialized help to the adult and children's population;

preparation of scientific and medical personnel;

pharmacy and medical equipment.

Article 3

The parties agreed that the priority directions of joint activities is:

reconstructive and plastic surgery;

transplantology;

neurology and neurosurgery;

AIDS problem;

narcology and toxicology;

balneology;

allergology and immunology;

oncology;

obstetrics, gynecology and reproduktologiya.

This list is not subject to restriction and can be expanded.

Article 4

The cooperation under articles 2-3 of this Agreement will be performed by carrying out general scientific research, consultations, exchange of specialists and medico-technical information, development of methodical recommendations, the organization of symposiums, the publication of monographs and Articles, other types of cooperation which subject and terms will be determined.
