T. Urazbayev, Institute of chemistry and physics of polymers, Institute of oriental studies of Abu Raykhan Beruni, Institute of archaeological researches of Ya. Gulomov, Institute of Uzbek, literature and folklore and the State museum of literature of Alisher Navoiy (further - newly created research establishments).

2. Determine the main objectives and activities:

Institute of history of Academy of Sciences - development of theoretical and methodological aspects of archaeological and ethnological researches, the organization of system studying of history of Uzbekistan of the period of the second half XIX - the beginnings of the 20th centuries, implementation of researches on history of statehood of the Uzbek people on the basis of objective approach, non-admission of falsification of the past, comprehensive and in-depth study of the questions connected with modern and contemporary history of Uzbekistan in the context of world civilization development;
