For the purpose of increase in culture and service quality of the population, creation of competitive environment in the field of rendering services on passenger road transport, streamlinings of activities of passenger motor transport and considering positive experience of holding open tenders on placement of city passenger routes in the cities of Almalyk, Bukhara, Namangan, Nukus and Samarkand, the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Accept offers of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas, the Uzbek agency of road and river transport on carrying out in the republic of open tenders on placement suburban, long-distance (intraregional, interregional) and the international passenger routes.

2. Determine that act as organizers of open tenders:

on suburban and long-distance-intraregional routes and on routes within the Republic of Karakalpakstan - the territorial commissions on the organization of passenger traffic on suburban and long-distance-intraregional routes headed by the vice-chairman of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, deputies of hokim of areas and Tashkent;

on long-distance-interregional routes, on routes between the Republic of Karakalpakstan - areas, the city of Tashkent, and international routes - the Interdepartmental commission on questions of the organization of holding open tenders on placement of long-distance-interregional and international routes.

3. Approve:

The program of measures for the organization and holding open tenders on placement suburban, long-distance (intraregional, interregional) and the international passenger routes according to appendix No. 1;
