1. Approve the Strategy of ensuring information security of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States it (is applied).

I. General provisions

The strategy of ensuring information security of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States (further - Strategy) represents set of official views of essence and content of interstate cooperation on ensuring information security of the State Parties of the CIS.

Strategy forms basis for consolidation of efforts and increase in efficiency of state cooperation - members of the CIS on ensuring information security; forming of policy in the field of ensuring information security, first of all on the basis of system of measures of strategic planning; preparation of suggestions for improvement of legal, methodical, scientific and technical and organizational support of information security of the State Parties of the CIS.

Strategy is based on earlier accepted fundamental documents in the field of homeland and information security of the State Parties of the CIS, including keeps succession of basic provisions of the Concept of state cooperation - members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of ensuring information security of October 10, 2008, and also the Agreement on cooperation of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of ensuring information security of November 20, 2013.
