On regulation of turnover of strong substances in the Republic of Uzbekistan
According to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of September 6, 2019 No. PP-4438 "About strengthening of measures for prevention of illicit trafficking in medicines", for the purpose of enhancement of legal regulation of turnover of the strong substances Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Approve:
the list of strong substances according to appendix No. 1;
structure of expert group on preparation of offers on modification and amendments in the list of strong substances under National information and analysis center on control of drugs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - expert group) according to appendix No. 2.
2. Determine the main objectives of expert group:
consideration of information of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, other interested ministries and departments, non-state non-profit organizations and mass media concerning realization and illicit trafficking in strong substances, including results of monitoring of consumption of medicines in not medical purposes;
studying of the best international and foreign practices in the field of regulation of turnover of strong substances;
development of offers on modification and amendments in the list of strong substances.
3. Determine that:
the expert group performs the activities on a voluntary basis and holds the meetings as required, but at least once in half a year;
the offers on modification and amendments in the list of strong substances prepared by expert group are introduced in the Cabinet of Ministers by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan in coordination with the interested ministries and departments.
4. For accomplishment of the tasks assigned it to grant to expert group the right:
