Some questions of preparation and certification of seamen

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Make changes which are applied to acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

2. Recognize invalid resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine according to the list which is attached.

3. This resolution becomes effective in three months from the date of its publication.

Changes which are made to acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine

1. Item 4 of the Regulations on Public service of the sea and river transport of Ukraine approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of September 6, 2017 No. 1095 "About formation of Public service of sea and river transport of Ukraine" (Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2018, No. 10, Art. 357), to add with subitems 59-1 - 59-11 following contents:

"59-1) forms the permanent state qualification commissions for confirmation of qualification of seamen, ensures their functioning, and also confirms qualification of seamen in the permanent state qualification commissions;

59-2) confirms validity of the documents of the seamen certifying their qualification determined by the legislation;

59-3) carries out the analysis of the international and national experience in the field of preparation, competency evaluation and certification of members of crews of sea going merchantmen;

59-4) will organize carrying out research and scientific and methodical works on enhancement of national system of preparation, competency evaluation and certification of seamen at the request of the Ministry of Infrastructure, participates in their accomplishment;
