For the purpose of strengthening of protection of the rivers, Sai, water storage basins and other reservoirs, water management objects and all other water sources from harmful effects of industrial, construction, transport, agricultural and other facilities the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Approve:

Regulations on procedure for establishment of the water protection zones and zones of sanitary protection of water objects in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 1;

additional measures for establishment of the water protection zones and zones of sanitary protection of water objects in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 2.

2. To provide to the ministry of water economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State committee on ecology and the environmental protection interested to the ministries and departments, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and khokimiyats of areas at the expense of own means implementation of works on establishment of the water protection zones and zones of sanitary protection of water objects, proceeding from their priority.

3. To the ministry of water economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments to bring the regulatory legal acts which are earlier adopted by them into accord with this resolution in a month.

4. Recognize invalid some orders of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix No. 3.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the Minister of Transport A. Zh. Ramatov, the adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning development of agrarian and food spheres A. D. Vakhabov and the chairman of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on ecology and environmental protection B. T. Kuchkarov.
