About modification of the Single commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union concerning separate types of forest products, and also in some Decisions of Board of the Eurasian economic commission

According to articles 42 and 45 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, Article 2.4 of the Free-trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its state members, on the one hand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the other hand, of May 29, 2015 the Board of the Eurasian economic commission solved:

1. Bring in the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union approved by the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of September 14, 2021 No. 80, the following changes:

a) in the additional note of the Eurasian Economic Union to group of 44 CN FEA EEU:

the words "Additional Note of the Eurasian Economic Union" shall be replaced with words "Additional notes of the Eurasian Economic Union";

add with the note 2 following of content:

"2. For goods of goods item 4407:

- the indicator of humidity is determined according to ISO 4470-81 (GOST 16588-91) and (or) national standards and also certified and other techniques (methods) of measurements conforming to requirements of the legislation of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union in the field of ensuring unity of measurements;

- width is determined in millimeters:

b) exclude from the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union of line item according to appendix No. 1;

c) include in the single Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union of line item according to appendix No. 2;

d) establish rates of import customs duties of the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union according to appendix No. 3.

2. In Section 1.5 of the Single inventory to which prohibitions or import restrictions or export by state members of the Customs union within the Eurasian economic community in trade with the third countries approved by the Decision of Board of the Eurasian economic commission of August 16, 2012 No. 134, the codes "4407 97 900 1 4407 97 900 2" of the CN FEA EEU to replace with the codes "4407 97 900 1 - 4407 97 900 4" of the CN FEA EEU are applied.

3. Bring in the list of separate goods to which rates of import customs duties according to the Free-trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its state members, on the one hand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the other hand, of May 29, 2015, and the sizes of such rates, No. approved by the Decision of Board of the Eurasian economic commission of April 19, 2016 36, of change according to appendix No. 4 are applied.

4. This Decision becomes effective after 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication, but not earlier than the date of entry into force of the decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission on modification of some decisions of Council of the Eurasian economic commission concerning separate types of forest products.
