RESOLUTION OF THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

of December 17, 2019 No. 1008

About approval of the List of the processing and laboratory equipment, component parts and spare parts to them, and also the raw materials and materials used for production of the medicines, products of medical appointment and packaging materials exempted from customs payment

(as amended of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 20.08.2019 No. 532)

In pursuance of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 10, 2019 the No. UP-5707 "About Further Measures for the Accelerated Development of Pharmaceutical Industry of the Republic in 2019 - 2021" Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Approve the list of the processing and laboratory equipment, component parts and spare parts to them, "clean rooms", sandwich panels and ventilating systems for pharmaceutical production rooms, and also the raw materials and materials which are not made in the Republic of Uzbekistan, used for content of laboratory animals, preclinical researches, production of medicines (including intra pharmaceutical production), the products of medical appointment and packaging materials imported by producers of pharmaceutical products, profile research institutions and higher educational institutions for own needs, and also the companies which are engaged in wholesale and retail sale of pharmaceutical products, for intra pharmaceutical production (further - the List), exempted for up to January 1, 2022 from customs payment (except for charges for customs clearance), according to appendix.

2. To the State Tax Committee together with the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish strict control of target and effective use of the imported processing and laboratory equipment, component parts and spare parts to them, and also the raw materials and materials used for production of medicines, products of medical appointment and packaging materials according to the approved List.

Determine that in case of inappropriate use of the imported according to the List of the processing and laboratory equipment approved by this resolution, component parts and spare parts to them, and also the raw materials and materials used for production of medicines, products of medical appointment and packaging materials, the released means in full are collected in the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan using penalties, stipulated by the legislation.

3. To the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments to bring the regulatory legal acts adopted by them into accord with this resolution in a month.

4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on deputy prime ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan E. M. Ganiyev and A. A. Abdukhakimov and the chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan M. B. Azimova.
