1. These rules of selection of applicants and passing of scientific training (further – Rules) are developed according to subitem 10-1) of article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About science" (further – the Law), the Presidential decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan of October 12, 2000 No. 470 "About the Republican commission on training abroad" and determine procedure for the organization and implementation of competitive selection of applicants for passing of scientific training, and also passing of scientific training for the purpose of advanced training of scientific, scientific and technical personnel in the leading foreign organizations of the higher and (or) postgraduate education, scientific centers and other organizations (further – the foreign organizations).
