Among achievements today: 99% of the population are covered by the Internet, more than 90% of the state services are available online, the share of the large and medium scale enterprises using elements of the Industry 4.0, constituted 5%, infocommunication infrastructure is expanded and implementation of technology of mobile communication of the next generation 5G is begun, the share of electronic commerce grew with % 2,2 to % 5,2 in 2020, digital farms on processing of cryptocurrencies are created, work on creation of model factories and intellectual fields is continued.
The index of human development of Kazakhstan is equal to 0,811 of 1 and according to the report of the United Nations, for 2021-2022 Kazakhstan is in the 56th place from 191 countries. Now the level of digital literacy (basic) in Kazakhstan constitutes more 87,3 of % (2020 – % 82,1).
The index of telecommunication infrastructure is equal to 0,75200 of 1 in Kazakhstan and testifies to need of its further development.
According to the data Speed test Global Index, on the speed of the mobile Internet Kazakhstan takes the 95th place among 141 countries, and also the 96th place among 174 countries on the speed of the fixed broadband Internet.
Number of elements of innovative ecosystem is created: the innovative cluster "The park of innovative technologies", National agency on development of innovations of "QazInnovations", the autonomous organization of education "Nazarbayev university" functions, the International technopark of information and technological startups of "AstanaHub" is started.
The specific weight of the organizations in economy performing innovations following the results of 2020 made % 11,5 (in 2019% 11,3). Whereas in the countries of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (further – OECD) this indicator on average of 53%, at the same time 70% of workplaces in private sector are created by the innovation-active companies. Despite growth of amount of innovative products in comparison with 2019 in time 1,5, its share in gross domestic product (further – GDP) remains at the % 2,43 level.
At the same time following the results of 2021 share of innovative products in industry "Information and communication" decreased with % 2,67 following the results of 2020 to % 2,62, innovative activity of the companies decreased with % 17,7 to 15% respectively.

The amount of the taxes paid by the information and technological companies in 2021 constituted 122 billion tenges.
According to the report of the Global index of cyber security which estimates the level of cyber security of the states Kazakhstan in 2018 rose directly by 43 line items in year, with 83rd to the 40th place and today already takes 31 places from 195 countries. Among the CIS countries Kazakhstan took the second place after Russia.
On researches of the UN, Kazakhstan borrows 28 (+ 1) the place on the Development of the Electronic Government index and the 8th place on the Service Online index (1208 state services (92%) turn out in electronic format, from them 484 on uncontested and 724 on alternative basis).
It became possible due to creation of infrastructure of the electronic government – key databases and industry information systems, tires of interaction and data exchange (lock of "the electronic government", Smart Bridge), and also to wide range of services (the portal of "the electronic government", the systems "E-License", "Smart Data Ukimet", the digital projects "Digital Card of Family" and "e-Otinish", the e-Gov Mobile mobile application).
At the same time, job analysis of components of "the electronic government" revealed the following shortcomings of its functioning, including in case of interaction with uslugopoluchatel:
lack of centralized monitoring of process of rendering the state service on different channels of interaction with citizens;
application for receipt of the state service, control of the course of its accomplishment and receipt of result cannot be performed with use of different channels;
processes of receipt of the state service on different channels of interaction can differ significantly from each other;
the list of the provided state services differs on different channels of interaction with the population;
In wider context, digitalization of state bodies is often carried out through prism of automation of tasks of state bodies that bears risks of loss of integrity, i.e. digitalizations of all of "client way".
Thus, despite significant progress in digitalization of the state services, interaction of citizens, business and the state not always has "seamless character" that results in need of receipt of the state services for the sake of other state services or submission of supporting documents.
For the conceptual solution of the above-stated problems since 2020 work on business process reengineering of state bodies, with transition from architecture of state body to single architecture of "the electronic government" on the basis of domains (spheres, industries) is conducted.
At the same time in the sphere of G2G the high level of bureaucracy is also observed.
